The hiring mechanic is a mess, you have to spend 90% of your game time fighting over a single player to hire for a marginal bonus and it’s obnxious. A cool down to hire away a player needs to be a thing and bypassing it should cost jewels. The current system just encourages setting up automation to abuse the system.
Not sure what this post provides or what possesed you to waste the time typing it up. Which is incredibly easy to automate and abuse. It also doesn’t address why i get the message “someone bought this player already” but frequently get the guy I just bought snatched away the exact moment I hire them. Neither of these messages should exist in the same system, either the player is always available or they’re unavailable for a cool down period to prevent players from wasting huge playtime sessions just trying to get allies to stick.
I wouldn't really call being an "ally trader", an "abuse" of the system. It's an intelligent way to earn extra gold, instead of using rss coins or mining. Also, the message you're receiving in regard to someone else hiring the player away, doesn't mean that you can't hire them anymore. I believe means that they either they aren't the price that is being displayed anymore (which can be fixed by reloading their profile), or that someone else is attempting to hire them at the same time that you are (which can either be fixed by reloading the persons profile or just pressing the hire button again). As for creating a cool down for rehiring allies, that would introduce a ton of unnecessary problems. For example : One player could hire all of one players allies and then attack them. The player being attacked could potentially have no chance to bank and protect that gold, since he couldn't rehire his or her allies.
While yes, allies can be hired quickly or upon hire, that isn't the issue. Issue is that there isn't a solid market set up yet. Once the game has a solid foundation of players, from low to high stats, then the market will naturally sort itself out just as in economics.
It takes a full 12 lines of python to automate the entire process. It’s easily abused. Also, lol at the guy that hired me for a full 2 seconds citing “crybaby” before someone triple his might hired me away and pushed me out of range of being able to hire me again. You angsty 12 year olds are quite hilarious.
Oh man. He sounds so mean. Maybe you should go full snowflake and block him. After all when someone disagrees the best option is of course to cry in a corner and ignore them.
