Hello, This is a guide that is mainly for helping new players and will be created by anyone that would like to reply. So the question is: Out of everything you know about Kingdoms Of Heckfire what is the single best tip you can give to a new player and why? (Please try not to write the same thing someone else has already written) I'll start this off. My tip to new players is to not rush your Townhall Level(Your Townhall Level isn't everything) Reasoning: I'll start off by saying yes, there are townhall level requirements to unlock certain things like different troops and higher level nodes in the realm. But if you really think about it; if you rush your townhall level and don't really focus on anything else, your more than likely gonna get targeted by other players because of barely having some type of defense. Training every troop you can and doing every research and building upgrade you can per townhall level you can takes more time, but in the long run, you'll be better protected and will be able to accomplish better things within this game.
Great idea for a thread! I think you should change the title and add '(add your own tips)' or something more consise in order to imply you want the community to add more tips. That might get you more traction on this thread. My thoughts on what you posted; Agree Going slowly and NOT just jumping to the next TH becuase you happen to have the ore available to do it. Agree about getting targeted especially if you are a week TH19-21 because that puts you in the LB's hit range for pvp events. Disagree I do not think you should do every single upgrade at every TH. Especially at higher TH's becuase it can get expensive and there are certain upgrades that you can skip on a case to case basis for your playing style. (There are a couple threads that talk about this already) To put this in perspective, I am a TH15 and almost at 100mil might and yet I am no where close to maxing out for my TH With regards to training as many troops as you can I think this is a mistake many people make. When going from militia to guards, or guards to T3 you will have an excessive about of troop bloat. And quite frankly, in my opinion, there is no need to have more then 2-3 times your march cap in troops. There are some TH's that you can jump/skip over and others that you should spend longer at. For me, I skipped TH13 and 14 and went right to 15. My reasoning is due to the buckets for events. Buckets are essentially the different brackets that TH's are grouped into for events (see below). TH15 happens to be at the top of a bucket and puts me in great position to contest for the top rewards in events. Furthermore it also allowed me to fully unlock and upgrade my guards. 0: 3-6 1: 7-9 2: 10-12 3: 13-15 4: 16-18 5: 19-22 6: 23+ These buckets get re-evaluated weekly and are subject to change
My tip would be to ask questions. As cliché as that might seem I'm being completely serious. Never feel like you have a dumb or stupid question as I guarantee you are not the first nor the last to ask it. Make use of Realm Chat, join a knowledgeable clan, or post a question here, on the forums. We all (for the most part) want this game to succeed and in order to do that we need to ensure the player base continues to grow. This happens by helping the newer folks understand the game... becuase yes, it can be a little confusing at times.
My advice would be to make friends and network! It is a war game after all and chances are pretty darn high you're gonna be a target by someone at some point. Don't get frustrated though, there are ways to avoid bullies such as shielding or teleporting and as long as you are under your hospital cap you should be okay.
Rally allows you to use your clan mates to make your attacks stronger and send multiple players armies. it can also be used to hide troops (see guide) by "ghosting" them
I bet it’s already been said but just in case don’t go over your caps or at least be attentive if you do. Resources (RSS) left out over cap will make you a target to get attacked. Make use of shields if you know you’re over and won’t be online/paying attention for a little while. 8hour shield drops daily from the dragon quest rewards
The dragon quests are the daily 24 hour quests that change between the 3 elements, grassland, badland, and swamp. The rewards are dragon shards plus a couple other things. These daily quests are called dragon quests because they offer upgrades for your dragons.
Click your avatar in the top left, that will take you to your profile. Once at your profile you will be able to view all your stats. Resource protection cap is located in the “Resources” section under gold/ ore/ food protected cap.
No. Only resources looted if you are over your protection cap. And troops killed if over your hospital cap.
What’s the best use of jewels? I typically hoard in game currencies in order to use them most efficiently, haven’t found what I should be using them on that’s not just speeding things up...
Buy a clan pint everyday (try and get everyone in your clan to buy them) will help greatly with having enough energy to complete the dragon quests. And buy the 1.5k biome chest, will provide shards and some speedups/rss tokens. Other then that most people typically hoard a bunch, and use them to rush timers during a might, construction, or research event.
To buy a teleport, you just go into the realm and click on a non-occupied space and hit teleport, then it will bring up the teleports and allow you to buy them for 5k jewels each if you do not have one. And no, it will not force you to use it when you buy it using the method I'm mentioning.
A little more info then you asked for but I just copy & pasted from the KoH Dictionary (linked my signature). Mi-Go: a swamp monster hunter and resource gather is unlocked at land 28/29/30 with an attack power of 35.3mil. Mi-Go is a great dragon to use if you are hitting a swamp monster or to use when gathering a resource node in the swamp.
If you messed up and build a 2nd Farm and Quarry, what’s the best solution. And is it the max 5 dragon altars at end game?
