Greetings Citizens of Heckfire! As raid monsters encroach further into the realm, our team of crack monsterologists (a totally real career and not at all a series of syllables crammed together by wordomancers, another group that has also insisted it is entirely legitimate.) has been hard at work coming up with new and exciting innovations in the field of sticking sharp objects into foes at high speed. While we're starting to suspect they've mostly spent their grant gold on candy and beer, they came through in the end and have dropped a series of weighty tomes, each designed for raid monster murder and mayhem. Whether you read the books or just use them to more efficiently bludgeon raid monsters into submission is up to you. Either way, this new research is just what you need to give you that extra edge so head to the raid tactics tree and check them out! Grassland Raid March Cap IV Learn to avoid mud puddles and bring bigger marches on grassland raids. Badlands Raid March Cap IV Apparently, if you tap out your boots, you'll lose fewer troops to scorpions and can bring a bigger group to badlands raids. Swamp Raid March Cap IV This one just says "tell the troops not to drink swamp water." Seems legit. Should cut down on dysentery and allow you to bring more troops on swamp raids. Raid Brew Minion Efficiency Boost II Most of Heckfire's soldiers are bad at math, so just give them smaller mugs that say they're the same size. They probably won't even notice. Reduced brew costs to start raid minion marches. Raid Brew Titan Efficiency Boost II Tell the troops that the big guy over there took all the beverages, and that they'd better get over there fast or they'll drink it all. They'll probably have forgotten by the time the fight is over. Start raid marches against titans for less brew. Raid Brew Boss Efficiency Boost II Raid bosses hate this one trick! Teach the soldiers to make their own drinks from discarded monster parts. Sure, it tastes like old socks, but so does kombucha, and something tells me the flavour isn't what's motivating your soldiers anyway. Reduced cost to send raid boss marches. Some of you will be able to complete much of this research right away, while for others it will take a while. Either way, this research represents more opportunities to strengthen your raiding long term so you can send those monsters packing while you gather up their goodies. We're excited to hear your feedback on this update to research, so please reach out if you have any thoughts you would like to share! Good luck and happy slaying! -The Heckfire Team
