If the timing for the challenges could be adjusted that would be awesome. Most of our clan is on EST so one of the cycles each day isn’t possible for them to achieve. But many other time zones can get both no problem. Maybe a shorter duration 3xs a day?
This is actually a real issue, many people are physically unable to participate in these new "events" due to the time zone. But I honestly feel that there is a much bigger issue than even this, it is the requirements. They are set too high, completely out of range of many people. We are given 4hrs to gain 1mil+ of growth (varies depending on TH).. This would equate to something like 4-5 days research, and a significant amount of building upgrade. For example I upgraded a lvl15 building, that wasn't even sufficient for 1star..... Many like myself gave up completely on these events, why bother making time for some Impossible task? Ps. duration isn't a real factor, primarily due to the only way to get the stars is via speeding up research/building with speed token or gems. Impossible to do without.
The event rotation is a rotation of 11 events before it repeats. By nature since there are 24 hours in a day, the event order shifts by 2 hours each day. Troop Monster Construction Troop Monster Resource Research Troop Monster Might Resource
I believe he is referring to hardcore might growth, and most current the clan event... Not the actual daily side quests..
I disagree. The rewards for the hardcore quests are much higher than that of a regular quest. These quests are meant to be difficult and reward those who spend money on the game. But at the same time you don’t need to spend money to 3 star, if you simply save your gems you will complete that quest very easily. Why should someone who is th 1-10 be rewarded with large amounts of time boosts and gems? They don’t want people to rush the game, they want people to learn it. Just my thoughts
So we can at least agree the event is primarily for those who pay..But How can you say they don't want people to rush the game, knowing for the hardcore event you needed to do 4-5 days of research even more if you are building to obtain 3 stars in a 4hr window. I have to completely disagree with the idea of free players being able to obtain the 3 stars..I tried once and realised it was impossible, but let's look at the evidence. They had say 3 4hour events during a 24hr period, and 3 stars on each would require 15days of research total. So 360 hours of speed up per day, to complete the event. It's simply Not possible, it's not even possible for moderate spenders, this isn't even factoring in gold/rss to even complete such requirements. If the event is simply designed for paying customers just bypass the hassle and auction off the rewards to the highest bidder. Daily dragon quests are fair, as are possible with dedication to obtain. #hardcore event #impossible
It should be challenging. The way that the event tiers are structured, losely quoting the devs here, is make make each of the tiers more difficult. Tier one/ one star can be easily achieved by most, tier two requires planning, and tier three requires you to spend tokens/ speedups. There is no exception with this event. My clan [OCD] which is a top three clan in the oldest realm, realm 10, did not finish the event until the last one or two event cycles. When the developers design the events they want them to last. If everyone three stared the clan hardcore might growth event in the first day they did not create a good event. I am not pretending to have all the data in front of me of how many clans completed each of the tiers but I would imagine it was somewhere along the lines of 10% 3-stared, 40-50% 2-stared and the rest 1-stared. This seems fine to me, if the number of clans 3-staring was in the 1-5% or 60-100% I would be worried.
I can second this. I two starred 2 of the 3 hardcore might quests without any speed ups or hemming. The last 3rd quest I three starred because I sped things up. This game, for the most part, was designed very well and fair. Even though it’s rated 9+ it takes a wise mind to play competitively and efficiently
ButterBean: 'If the event is simply designed for paying customers just bypass the hassle and auction off the rewards to the highest bidder.' Remember, without those people who are prepared to pay for gems, etc. to complete and compete in these types of event then this game would very quickly cease to exist. If, like me, you choose play but not pay you have to accept that you will always be at a disadvantage compared to those who choose to part with their cash. For those who do pay, I thank you for supporting my continued enjoyment of this game.
