You’re not missing anything. I just hired you, and you cost 100 pieces of gold. For this price range there are so many allies that it is nearly impossible for all of them to be hired. As a result people will typically remain here until they grow beyond the .6/.6/.6 bonus’ (grassland/ badlands/ swamplands) or join a clan and get hired by a clanmates.

Also, what could have happened is you got pushed beyond the number of viewable ally pages for 100. What I mean by this is when I search for allies that cost 100 I will only be able to view 20? pages by clicking “show more allies” before I get cut off. Your name could have been on page 27, and nobody ever seen you do to limitations in how the app displays allies.

 

if you get high enough stats, people will start buying you left and right. Also you're not missing much gold by not being hired anyway. If you really want to be hired, try being more active in chat. Some people even ask if they're undervalued or ask people to volley them.

You're ally doesn't make you money unless he/she is sold...

Allies offer attack/defense bonuses and plunder bonuses when attacking monsters
