Hello! This dictionary is in no way shape or form complete. I have well over a hundred words in it at the the moment and I will add more as they come up or someone brings one to my attention that I have missed. On that note, please, please, send me a message or post in this guide if you see a mistake--especially spelling and grammar mistakes, which as you will quickly learn, I make all the time. This guide, just like any other dictionary is organized alphabetically with each letter a separate post. The reason for this is to make navigation easier and increase the ease of use. Symbols [ ]: refers to a clans tag, it is set by the owner when they create the clan. It can be one, two, or three letters long in length and is typically an abbreviation of their clans name ***: this occurs when someone bypasses (swears, says a cuss word, or derogative term) in a chat window 'Player name' inc #/#: this is one method of reporting incoming attacks in clan chat rather then spamming all 1.1 million battle reports you just got. A Account Hibernation: players will be removed from the realm (until they log back in) if they are, inactive for 2 consecutive days and their TH is less then 6 inactive for 3 consecutive days and their TH is less then 11 inactive for 10 consecutive days and their TH is less then 16 inactive for 20 consecutive days and their TH is less then 21 inactive for 25 consecutive days and their TH is less then 25 The reason for this is to make more space in the realm. Players with NEVER BE REMOVED if they are above 100mil might, if there town hall is greater then 25, or if they spend real life money on the game. ATA – A Thinking Ape: this is the name of the company that created the game you are playing. They are based in Vancouver, BC and have created other mobile games such as, Kingdoms at War, S.M.A.S.H., Party in my Dorm, and Casino X. B Badlands Bonus: this bonus is determined by the tier of your badlands dragons, increasing the rank or level of badlands dragons does not increase your badland bonus. Barracks: decreases the time needed to train troops Beer: this is needed to battle monsters in the realm. You can increase your brew efficiency, capacity, and production rate through research. The best way to gain brew is to have everyone in your clan buy a clan pint everyday Bertha: a badland monster hunter and resource gatherer unlocked at land 28/29/30 with an attack power of 35.3mil. Bertha is a great dragon to use if you are hitting a badland monster or to gather with on a resource node in the badland. BFA – bonus from allies: this refers to the bonus that you get from your allies. BL – badlands: one of the three biomes and is a brown color in the realm Bonesy: a badlands pvp attack and defense dragon unlocked at land 40/41/42 with an attack power of 812mil. Bonesy is a great dragon to use if you are choosing the guardian dragons for your city and your city is in the badlands or if you are attacking player who is in the badlands. Bovis: a grassland monster hunter and resource gatherer unlocked at land 28/29/30 with an attack power of 35.3mil. Bovis is a great dragon to use if you are hitting a grassland monster or to gather with on a resource node in the grassland. BT1, 2, 3 – badland titan level 1/2/3 Bta – bonus to allies: this involves your grasslands, badlands, and swamp bonus’. You can increase your bta by collecting relics and leveling up your dragons Bubbles: a swamp pvp attack and defense dragon unlocked at land 16/17/18 with an attack power of 338k. Bubbles is a great dragon to use if you are choosing the guardian dragons for your city and your city is in the swamp or if you are attacking a player who is in the swamp. Bucket: you are grouped into buckets for events. These buckets are determined by TH so you are not competing against people ten TH's larger than you. As of the last time this post was updated the buckets were 3-6, 7-9, 10-12, 13-15, 16-18, 19-22, 23+ Bundles: one of the methods to purchase items in the game with real life money and can be accessed from the store. C CA – clan announcement: this is the banner at the top of your clan chat and can only be set by admins. Typically a clan will post who has long shield in their CA so people can hide there troops in those people. Carry Capacity: this is the amount your troops can carry. You can see the carry capacity of your troops by looking in the troop train menu and at the bag icon. Huntresses have the largest carry capacity for tier three and four troops. Your carry capacity also partly determines how much gold you can destroy. CC – clan chat: a place where you can communicate with other members of your clan. Only the people in your clan can view this chat. Chests: multiple differents types of chests, they refresh every 24 hours. They can be broken up into three different categories Chomper: a badland monster hunter and resource gather unlocked at land 4 with an attack power of 1600. Chomper is a great dragon to use if you are hitting a badland monster or gather with on a resource node in the grasslands. Chow: chow is needed to feed your dragons to make them stronger. It is recommended that you do not feed your dragons until you have a 180-200% bonus for ‘dragon XP bonus’. There are four different types of chow that can be gained as monster drops, or from chests. Generic normal and jumbo chow and biome specific normal and jumbo chow. Clan Event: in these event’s you work together with the other members in your clan to gain points. You get points by completing a research, building, gather, or troop train. They appear blue on the quest board. Clan Tavern: increases your clan chest slots, resource gifting cap, and decreases your gifting tax Clap: this is another word that means, essentially, attack. This word was first used by the player Hus Clear Cashe: if your game is causing you problems this is one method to try and fix the issue Clear Techtree: if your game is causing you problems this is one method to try and fix the issue Crypt: these are event specific nodes that appear during a crypt event. There are three different levels of crypts bracketed by town hall, you can only get points for the level crypt of your bracket. D Debug: move your finger around in a circle on your screen in order to pull up the debug window Def – defense: to view your defensive strength click the wall building (at the bottom of your kingdom) and then the shield icon. If you are in the realm click the dragon menu and then the shield icon. Destroyed Gold: when an ally gets hired and you do not collect the gold, that gold is said to be uncollected. Uncollected gold can get destroyed when another person successfully wins an attack. The formula for the amount of uncollected gold is as followed. Over cap resources minus carry capacity, and the remaining carry capacity (that is not carrying over capped resources) can destroy an amount of uncollected gold equivalent to the remaining carry capacity but not exceeding 10% of the total uncollected gold. Dev – developer: these are the people that created the game. They include, but are not limited to, Derek, Grant, Geoff, Mike, Jordan, Clarke, Gregory, GeeWhizz, McDavid, WhiteSkarr, James, Dave, Marvin, Dennis, Winston, and Ness. Discord: one of the 3rd party chat platforms clans will communicate with their members in DNR – do not reinforce: when this is said, it implies that the person being attacked does not want reinforcements, likely because they are bailed, or are under their hospital cap. Dragon Altar: increases your dragon XP bonus Dragon Quest: there is a different dragon quest every 24 hours and rotate grassland -> badlands -> swamp. Completing the dragon quests are one of the most beneficial things you can do in the game Dragon Spire: increases your dragon XP bonus, and at certain levels the number of dragons per march. Dragon: these little/ big creatures are used to increase the strength of your march. Some specialize in a specific biome while others in PvP or PvE actions. There are twelve total dragons and this requires each to have a twin, sorta speak. There are two dragons per biome that focus on PvP and two that focus on PvE. Drop: this is when you drop an ally. F Farm: increases the rate at which food is generated (highly in-efficient) Farming: to hit a player over and over again, typically for resources or to get higher on the troop kill leaderboard Feats: these are the different things you can complete in order to gain resource tokens. There is a dozen that you can see and then another half dozen that are not shown. The ones not shown include, killing a certain number of monsters, completing a certain number of researches, and from the number of rank ups/ level ups of your dragons. Forum: that where you are now, if you do not know what the forums are, and you are reading this guide, then…. How? Frank: a swamp monster hunter and resource gather unlocked at land 7 with an attack power of 6700. Frank is a great dragon to use if you are hitting a swamp monster or gather with on a resource node in the swamp. Free Heals: You get a certain number of free heals per 6 or 8 hours that can be used to free heal your troops. This number is determined by your hospital level. G Gems: another name for jewels. You can get these as rewards from killing monsters or from completing events. Gems can be converted into resource tokens (not recommended) or in the form of speed ups. Ghost Rally: this is when you set a 8 hour rally on an person to hide your troops. In a ghost rally, or any rally for that matter, all troops participating in the rally are safe, and can not be killed Gifts: when you purchase one of these clan gifts every member in your clan will receive one. It is recommended that everyone in your clan buys a clan pint each day. GL – grassland: one of the three biomes and is a green color in the realm Goblin: these are the monsters that reside in the grassland Grasslands Bonus: this is the bonus is determined by the teir of your grassland dragons, increasing the rank of grassland dragons does not increase your grassland bonus. H HC – Hospital: this is where your troops go to get healed, increases the number of free heals you get hidden troops: this is when you send your troops to defend a shielded person in your clan. They are hidden because as long as the person remains shielded, your troops will not be killed. One of the many ways to protect troops Hire: you get and increasing amount of gold every time you are hired, this amount caps at 10,000 Hive: a hive is formed when a clan has all their members tightly grouped together in one section of the realm. I Inc -- incoming: when player is getting attacked they will say "inc Donno 1.2 minutes" meaning that they have an incoming attack from donno that will hit there kingdom in 1.2 minutes. Island: The island is located in the center of the realm and is where the higher level of nodes are located. In order to attack players or monster on the island you must teleport to the island because your troops can not cross the water surrounding the island. M MC – March Cap: this is the number of troops you can send to attack another player or a monster Mi-Go: a swamp monster hunter and resource gather unlocked at land 28/29/30 with an attack power of 35.3mil. Mi-Go is a great dragon to use if you are hitting a swamp monster or gather with on a resource node in the swamp. Mini Hive: this is when 5-8 members of a clan are grouped together on a map. Typically, if a clan is in mini hive formation they will have 5-6 of such hives for all their members. Monsters: there are treants and swamp titans, goblins and grassland titans, and skeletons and badland titan. The max damage for a titan is ~2% and for non-titan's 30%. Mothuselah: a swamp pvp attack and defense dragon unlocked at land 40/41/42 with an attack power of 812mil. Mothuselah is a great dragon to use if you are choosing the guardian dragons for your city and your city is in the swamp or if you are attacking player who is in the swamp. My Value: this is the price that people can hire you for. It gives no bonus to you whether or not you have a high or low higher price. N Nodes: there are two different types of nodes. Monster nodes include skeletons, goblins, and treants that you send troops to in order to battle the monster. O OC – over cap on resources: this is when the amount of resources out is greater than the protection cap (see protection cap) Ocean: is a light blue color in the realm. If a section of land is completely surrounded by water your troops will not be able to get there without teleporting. P Privacy Policy: http://kingdomsofheckfire.com/privacy.html Protection cap: each resource has its own protection cap which can be increased by building treasuries. A percent increase to your protection cap is also available as a research option. However, this percent increase is not reflected in the protection cap that you can see when viewing your profile. To calculate your total protection, cap you need to do the following, [protection cap * (1 + % increase)]. If you had a protection cap of 100,000 and a percent bonus of 10% the equation would read [100,000 *(1 + 0.1)] which equals 110,000. R Rally: when a player is too big for you to solo attack, you can start a rally on that person where other members of your clan will join your troops, dragons, and ally bonus’ in an attack. When you rally, a notice will appear in the clan the opposing person is in alerting them that their clan member is getting rallied and to reinforce thier clan member. RC – Realm Chat: this is a place to interact with other people in the realm. Everyone in the realm can see this particular chat. Realm: this can mean one of two things, 1) the realm is where you can see other players, monsters, and titans and is separated into three biomes. 2) everyone in the game is placed into a realm, as the game increases in size the number of realms will increase. As of the last time this post was updated there was only one realm Rein – reinforce/reinforcement: this is when you send troops to another player in your clan. Those troops are said to be reinforcing that player Reset: means that your account will get erased along with all the progress you have made (THERE IS NO BENEFIT TO RESETING). You can reset your account in settings, but keep in mind that that is a permanent action. Resource Bonus: you increase this bonus by increasing the amount of gold you have in allies. Your resource bonus cap is increased by upgrading your treasuries. RSS – resource: there are three different types of resources in this game, ore, food, gold. Primarily ore is used to upgrade buildings, food to train more troops, and gold to hire more allies or do research. However, ore and food are also needed for certain research items. Ruby: a grassland monster hunter and resource gather unlocked at land 0 with an attack power of 900.
