State of the Realm - March 2018

Welcome to our first ever State of the Realm!

We want to keep everyone updated on what we are working on, and what will be happening in the near future. We will also be sharing our thoughts on major topics surrounding the game.



Quality of Life Improvements
We have gathered suggestions from our community and are working on the following improvements.
We plan to have these out in our future updates.

Already Released

• Improved handling of stuck marches
• Improved handling of general server lag
• Improved syncing of game timers.
  • Timers will now update and cancel transactions if your game is out of sync with the server
• Tapping Reward Icons now displays a description
• In-Game Name Changes
• Blocked User Fixes
  • Realm Chat messages from blocked users will no longer show up after logging in again
  • Blocked User status on their profile now always shows the correct status. Previously blocked players would show as "unblocked" after relaunching your app.

Upcoming March Releases
(Subject to Change)

• Open All Chests
• Better Purchase / Chest Rewards Verification
  • If you're disconnected or results could not otherwise be displayed for a Purchase or Chest you will receive a message in your Mail Inbox with the items obtained
• Displaying Records of your 10 most recent completed events
• Better indications for when you exceed the resource cap
• Block List to show all players you have currently blocked
• Increasing the number of Battle Reports and Allies Hired messages that you receive

Upcoming Features

Spring Event
We're currently working on our next big event, scheduled to release before the start of April. We've taken player feedback from our past events and are making improvements in every way possible. We're also adding some new mechanics to keep things interesting and hope you'll enjoy it!

Shrines
We're continuing to test Shrines and have opted to push back the release date. This allows us to take the time to get the feature right. We want to make sure that the top clans in each Realm are engaged with the feature, and are improving the design to address this.

Artifacts
This will be our next major feature after Shrines. The premise is that players will be able to collect Artifacts that, when activated with the proper ingredients, give them a temporary boost in PVP, summon special Titans/Events, and boost the growth of their Kingdom.

This is still in the concept phase, and we will be looking to share additional details as we develop it!



Community Discussions

Account Sales
We are getting reports of this happening, and have seen behaviour that would back this up in our logs. While we do not support account sales, it is also very difficult to enforce. A lot of what may be an account sale could also be normal player behavior.

Rather than trying to investigate each account sale case, we will look into changes that we can do to minimize the impact that purchasing an additional account will have on the dynamics of the game.

Server Stability + Client Stability
As noted in the Quality of Life improvements section above, we are working on improving the performance of our Servers and Clients. We understand that there are still many improvements that can be made, and we want to stress that this is a top priority for us.

If you encounter a bug, and you are able to reproduce it consistently, please help us by sending us the details via in-game help. By being able to reproduce the bug internally, we are able to fix them much quicker.
