It has come to my attention and a few fellow gamers within my clan that the 'send resources' feature might be upgradable.

Examples could include but not limited to:
    Sending brew
    Sending jewels

Perhaps add a tax feature to this, as there is one for resources. Thus limiting the amount of exchange, but still making it possible to do so.

Perhaps including a feature on selecting a resource to use as payment towards the tax on sending said items instead of taking the tax directly out of the sent items.

Sending gems and items would be a major deterrent because people would be able to farm alt accs.

And they'd also totally be able to start extorting players.
I could totally see this happening:

p1: does something to offend p2
p2:"I'm going to farm your entire clan unless you join mine and send me 5m gems, then go back to your clan and the next member has to do it."

Extortion is already possible with gold, which is arguably just as valuable as gems.

However, that being said, I think the resource gifting mechanics need to be limited rather than expanded, and the "tax" on looted RSS should be closer to 50%. This would prevent the sale/gifting/extortion of obscene amounts of resources, such as gold.

So I send my clanmate 300k ore for an upgrade they're doing, and they only get 150k? I send them 1M ore, and they get 500k?? What a waste that'd be.

No. I was thinking more like, if you send your clan mate 1m gold, you can't send them anymore for 1 hour. That would limit how much gold can be transferred between accounts and put a stop to people selling massive amounts of gold to other players.

The 50% tax would be on looted gold. So if you hit someone who has 500m gold, 250m is destroyed. That would discourage people selling gold and using attacks to transfer it. Problem solved.

ATA gets to keep making money instead of having players spending $1,000 or more per month buying gold from other players.

To be fair that wouldn't really matter. People who play this game long enough have a decent amount of patience. 1 hr, 3 hrs, 8 hrs? It's not very hard for them to just do whatever they need to do and then come back to the game the next day and repeat the same action.

So if my clanmate needs 8m ore for an upgrade, and we as a clan are helping while they shield, we won't be able to help them because we can only send a little under 3 marches worth of ore to them before we have to wait an hour?
