Increase defence power

Hi, im wanting to know what research or buildings i need to upgrade to increase my defence power (wall) seen people with over 20mill power but are smaller power towards me just think im missing something (im in badlands with badlands dragons which are decent lvled just confused TIA

Your Wall Strength is based on the type and the amount of troops you have, the dragons you assign to the wall (which will be unavailable when using them for gathering or attacking), the bonus from your allies , and your reinforcements (if your clan sends you any).
