It would be very cool to have a new construction : a shelter for a part of the army to be protected in case of an attack during night. It would make impossible to totally zero a player. For example, it could protect a definite percentage of troops not more than 60% at best.
No, because they can be killed in Garrison . A shelter that defines a capacity of troops that cant be damaged to avoid total zeroing
Uh no... garrison troops are never killed or injured It’s also impossible to be totally “zeroed”. Garrisson troops will always stay and you have a hospital.
There are things already in place for that hospital caps, sheild, your cap on how many people you can hold you just have to work on those. I would like to see a much larger garrison cap then we have now
I would be down for a building which increases garrison cap. Could be based off level of the wall just like how hospital level effects wards. After all, the garrison cap is virtually non-existent later in the game.
This game loses more players and tons of new players to being zeroed ... Putting a structure in place that will give them a safe haven for their marches would probably help with player retention. Perhaps an Inn and each inn can house 1 full or half a maarch --- with sliders allowing a player to select which troops can stay in the inn - I know a number of players that quit last night due to a griefer just upping their lb count. I am talking about a TH 24 zeroing new players and friends that are so far below him that there is no way to defend ..this in itself makes this game so unbalanced and a source of major frustration to the point it's not fun. The writing is on the wall -- a solution needs to be found for your hemorrhaging of players.
That is a problem this game has had since it started. Top players get bored since the end-game content is fairly boring, so they will go around zeroing players for no reason. This in turn makes those smaller players quit since these kinds of players suck the fun out of the game. I have made suggestions to make it so a player cannot kill/injure troops when attacking a player 3 th levels lower than himself (since 90% of the time the higher th is grossly stronger than the smaller players). ATA's reply was that they don't want to limit what their pay to win community gets from growing. Hopefully at some point ATA will start looking out for the smaller players though it seems quite unlikely since their profit comes from the big players.
I'm brand new here and it says garrison cap is 5k. Does that remain the same? I haven't found any way to upgrade that yet. Thanks for any help
The garrison cap is pretty useless. You can upgrade it only through research but only an additional 5k, for a max of 10k. Fun fact: This was a hold over from beta (nearly two years ago) when the garrison cap was a lot lot bigger (used to be 60-80k)
A garrison cap that large would actually be nice. It is really annoying to only have a protect cap of 10k troops. Pretty much doesn't exist late game.
Back when it was that big hospitals DID NOT work the same way they did today. It used to be that you could completely zero someone (except for the garrison). This meant that you could kill the troops in someone’s hospital too.
