Hi Everyone! We recently did some deep dives into the game’s balance, and found that some of our systems would benefit from some review and improvement. The upgrade impacts quite a few systems, but here are some of the bigger changes: Jewel cost for Brew tokens have been greatly reduced! Event Rewards, IAPs and reward structures have been reviewed and rebalanced. Our goal is to focus on activity as a bigger driver for success. To this end, we have decreased the Jewel cost of Brew, giving you more opportunities to earn rewards such as Dragon Relics, Resources, and Chow by taking part in realm activities on a day to day basis. We’re also adding more options for how spend the Jewels at your disposal by increasing their overall value. Brew for you! The Jewel cost for Brew tokens has been lowered for all tokens, with each token’s price cut dramatically to make slaying Monsters even more accessible. As you can see below, the value of your brew purchases has improved by between 2x and 2.5x! 10 Brew: Reduced from 250 to 100 Jewels 25 Brew: Reduced from 500 to 225 Jewels 50 Brew: Reduced from 800 to 350 Jewels 100 Brew: Reduced from 1,400 to 600 Jewels 250 Brew: Reduced from 3,200 to 1250 Jewels PVE Tweaks Alongside the brew improvements, we have changed the drops on some of the rewards earned in the Realm. Monster Camps & Slayer Chests Monster Camps still drop their full previous amount of Resources, Chow, and Relics. Combined with greatly increased access to brew, players will have expanded opportunities to earn those rewards. To balance the increased Monster slaying capacity from these Brew changes, Dragon XP earned per hit has been decreased, Slayer Chests drop rates and rewards have been slightly reduced and Jewels earned from slaying Monster Camps have been lowered. The net impact of these changes is an increased opportunities to drive progression via activity. We understand this will likely be among the most noticeable changes with far reaching implications, but we’re very excited about the possibilities this will provide for players to earn rewards through active play. Titans and Raid Targets Raid Targets and Titan continue to provide their previous rewards, including Jewels, and their drop rates are unchanged. Titans in particular will now be an even better source of exciting prizes! Open All Chests Players will now have access to the “Open All” feature for chests in the Clan Tavern at level 9, making opening their chests to claim rewards faster and easier. Event Rewards & Shop Bundles As part of our economy review we noticed that event reward values were inconsistent, so along with the changes outlined above, we have reviewed and rebalanced event payouts. In many cases you may see different items than you are used to seeing as rewards from existing events. For example; the overall reward values for Supply Stockpile are being lowered, while rewards from events such as Free For All and Sepulcher Mulcher have substantially increased. Alongside the changes to event rewards, we will be updating our Shop Offerings to fit the new balance and better reflect their value. Many of these changes will be visible right away, with additional updates rolling out over time, starting with the “Burning Dude” event beginning on September 12th. Oh wow so you decreased the amount of gems we get from hitting monsters and dramatically increased how many gems it'll take to speed things up. Gonna ruin the economy with how many players are going to quit. Really messed this one up!
So you guys dropped the cost of brew (in gems) yet lowered the total amount of gems one can acquire. I also noticed you guys added one minute speed ups back to larger accounts which is not only not needed but a waste because it takes up a slot in mob chests (which spawn less frequently). So all in all you guys made the game harder to play and less enjoyable for the larger players and smaller players alike. Way to really fill your pockets guys!
Lol really tried to word that like a positive update 😂 less rewards from monsters to make the game more active 😂😂😂 jokers nobody buys brew and its still overly expensive
Woah, this is just awesome... 41gems from monsters, used to get 200.. 18 days speedup is now 91k gems, you really ed this up.
Like litteraly a fking joke, just a way to get more money out of us. "Make it fair to everyone" as the pay to win people get a huge advantage. Not to mention the big middle finger you just gave all your long time players. 😂 Like y'all are a joke development studio. You can't do anything in a timely manner, or without f-ups and then you constantly do things that the play base hates, honestly y'alls practice is more predatory that EAs and you have more screwups then Bethesda. That's not a good list to be on
ATA driving increased PVP by... doubling the amount of gems to rush troops and giving us 80% less gems. Genius...
I think there must be a vernacular difference between Canada and the US? When it now requires drastically MORE of a resource in exchanges for the same item, that resource has LOST value, not gained. "spend the Jewels at your disposal by increasing their overall value."
