Greetings citizens of Heckfire! We've finally finished training the hunting pugs to sniff out hidden realm monsters and nodes! It took a lot of scratches, belly rubs and walkies but it should be worth it! "Woah, what the heck are you even talking about!?" It's quite simple, dear citizen. We are debuting a new system that allows players to search for specific node types on the map, and even spawn them yourself if there aren't any near you! To start searching, tap the realm search (little magnifying glass) in the bottom right of the realm screen! That will bring up the realm search screen! You can choose a specific biome to search in (or all of them) as well as the specific type of resource, monster and level of each! Once you've personalized your search, tap that button! It will find the closest available monster or node that fits your search filters and automatically center you directly on top of it! Simple! A few notes about the searching mechanic: Searching for resource nodes only finds unoccupied nodes. Searching for standard monster camps (goblins/skeletons/treants) only finds full health versions of those monsters. You can only search for monster and node levels that you have unlocked via research. There is a search radius of 1:30 or 27 tiles away from your Town Hall Buuuuuuuut wait! There's more! Looking for monsters is great, but what if there aren't any near you! That would be sad! If the realm search tool can't find a suitable monster for your filters, you will have the option to spawn the monster camp yourself! Spawning a monster camp costs brew, which varies in amount based on the monster level. (The above example of 300 brew is for a level 12 monster camp.) A few notes about the spawning mechanic: Only monsters can be spawned, not resource nodes. Monsters will spawn in the appropriate ring for their level. You must be near the correct ring in order for the monster to be spawned. Example: Level 10 monsters will spawn in ring 6, etc. This mechanic can only be used if the realm search CANNOT find another monster camp that matches your search filters. That's it! I would have been content with ghost nodes not appearing withen minutes of a fresh load. Or at least being removed when the interaction attempt gives the fail message.
Hate it. This is gonna encourage people (even more) to trespass other clans' hive territories and cause scuffles.
Something not mentioned: if we spend the 300 brew to spawn a mob seconds before someone uses the feature to find a mob, can they take it first (assuming they're closer / can get there faster) after we've spent brew to spawn it? Because that would suck.
Not gonna lie, hands down the coolest feature you've added in a while 🙌 it's unfortunate you can't spawn nodes for a RSS fee, because that would settle the long running "not enough lvl 12 gold nodes", but aside from that thank you ATA team for this wonderful update ❤🙌🙌
Adding a feature that almost every other RTS game has from the start, and then charging brew to summon monsters if it can't find any? What a way to make the game even more p2w! Someone at ata is getting a raise 😂🤑
I'm glad they added this, just wish range was a bit bigger half the time I search my level node I find nothing. But nevertheless glad it's in.
Great question! I would like a confirmation from devs rather than assume. 1. It does say it will drop you on the mob if found. 2. Then in search it says only unoccupied mobs/nodes will be found.
