Announcement Introducing Riptide!

For all of the casual brutality of Heckfire’s lands, they pale in comparison to the seas. Most of the ocean life in Heckfire is to some degree or another predatory, from killer seaweed to giant squid to that one particularly aggressive guppy. Even in the warm shallows, vicious beasts seek to make a meal of anything foolish enough to venture into their domain. As one descends, they will find the inhabitants only grow in their primal brutality as the light above becomes a distant memory. It is in these lightless depths that one may find themself within the sunken kingdom of Mermolga herself, where she alone reigns over the forgotten monsters of the depths. Yet even the Sea Queen herself is not without fear. For her most ancient foe stalks the inky deeps, a shadow that cuts through the crushing pressure with ease, a being of pure, primal instinct, silently devouring all that dares cross its path, leaving nothing but a trail of its victims blood in its wake. It eats and eats, and its belly is never full. Always eating. Always hungry. Always. Eating. Always. Hungry.

Introducing Riptide!

A horror from a bygone age, Riptide has long since lost the ability to think, animated purely by vicious instinct and the endless, unrelenting need to devour. This is likely due, at least in part, to the fact that this Draconic abomination has begun rotting away, with massive unhealed wounds across the length of their body endlessly leaking blood and viscera. No one can truly control such a beast, but you can turn its brutal instinct to your advantage by unleashing Riptide upon his favored prey: Mermolga and her minions.
