Abuse of a game system

Curious how this has been overlooked for so long but…. Why does the ally system seem to be set up for only abuse? It is bonuses for players, but anyone not willing to spend real money gets boned. Why is a less than 1% total ally in game worth 6 billion gold? Mathematically that’s over $100 of real money spent on packs for a minimal bonus. When new accounts are created, before they can even break 100,000 power they’re worth half a billion.
This system is obviously set up ONLY for abuse and to force people to spend money.
