I'm getting tired of allies being bought away the very next second I buy them, as it becomes a ping-pong battle between me, and 10 other people within minutes.

I'd like to request a feature that locks in allies, preventing them for being bought for at least 5-10 minutes so the spam can stop. It seems fair to me, and a whole lot less annoying.

This will affect the ally market in a drastic way, and by that I mean in a negative way. The ally market is determined by the players of the game, as are the prices and they fluctuate day by day. It is an ever changing part of the game , and very much like the economy of the game. There is no nice way to put this, so I'll be blunt and honest. If you want to keep a ally OVERPRICE it ! People hogging UNDERPRICED allies is VERY bad, and that aside you will decimate the ally traders game. The amount of frustration this idea would cause is extreme to say the least, you will find if you volley your ally up you are your volley partner will not only generate more gold but you will keep that ally for much longer. Do you should do your research on your ally, determine if he/she is active, and then decide on a price and allow them to grow into the new price.. This is the most sensible way, and the way these things have worked for many years.

I think after playing a little longer you will change your view on this.

Plus...you are buying that ally from someone most likely...so they also have a right to buy them back if they want to. You are not the only person who sees the ally, so you shouldn't be the only person who gets to buy it. You pay how much you feel it's worth for that ally, and if someone thinks it's worth more, they'll buy it.

The biggest issue here is that in early game when allies are extremely helpful to advance, you cannot even use them. Until you can bank 50 million gold you cannot keep an ally for more than 10 seconds. The largest percentage of players in the game cannot even utilize this feature.

I can understand what you are saying, in regards to the very early stages of the game. However I think your evaluation of only keeping allies in the 50mil is way off the reality,we haven't yet become that super inflated 😂 I would say from my experience the range of 1-2 mil can be kept for a fair amount of time (admittedly most likely an inactive low near zero BFA boost). I am not saying it will be "easy" but we have all been there, and we have all had to struggle early on.. But we must ask ourselves, should we affect the whole ally market to make the first few days of play easier ?..

My only advice would be to keep pushing forward, and soon enough you will have allies that remain for hours or days.

If you are in a active clan you will receive chests, and also other rewards in the form of gold tokens, I would suggest that they pump all this into allies and keep reinvesting, you will also be able to pay for the early research with the profit you make..

There’s more positives than negatives without a lock on tutors.

Each time you hire an ally you make money. Abuse this until you’ve got enough to hire an ally a bit overpriced. Research the ally market and make money. I haven’t spent any tokens for an ally because I’ve used this system since the day I started. I currently have ~18-23% ally bonus with 37m invested.

ATA has made the market pretty fair in my opinion

It's possible to keep allies early on in the game from TH 6 on I've had allies that I kept for days I Just hired 6 from my starting area and kept them for days. Sometimes I even hire crappy ones just for the extra good and drop them later as we're only talking a 100 or so gold. Once they show up on the search feature they are as good as gone, but I just go to the edge and grab a replacement.
