Clan Chest Leveling Up Bug (?) Android & IOS

My clan recently got to a level 1 clan chest. However, later on after opening the chest, we received another clan chest level 2, without earning the stated amount of keys yet. It seems like the leveling up is cause by "Clan XP" that we receive from the clan chest as each receiver who opens the chest gets 100 XP for their clan. Is there any way that it is a glitch where the Clan Chest gained by XP and Clan Chest gained by key are combined as the same chest? Lastly, I would like to have some clarification on the Clan XP as other from the Clan Chest I cannot view it anywhere else. Thank you ATA.
