Confused

Just answered this question in another thread, but I’ll copy and paste it here just in case you missed it.

Clear chests whenever it is convenient for you, you get rss tokens as rewards (sometimes speedups or energy) the tokens can be viewed by clicking the gold/ore/food icon in the menu at the top of your screen.

Let me know if you need further clarification and I’ll go into a more in depth explanation.

 

you should see them as tokens of whatever items you got. If you got gold, you tap the gold at the top of your screen and you can see how many of each type you have. Same goes for food or ore. Speed ups are a bit harder. Go to an item you're upgrading/building/evolving/clearing/researching etc anything with a timer and tap speed up. You will see all of the tokens of speed ups you have.
For shields, act as if you're going to shield your city (they change the locations sometimes...) but in your city, tap the up arrow and the shield, in the realm, tap your city and the shield button and you can see how many shields you have.
for teleports, tap an empty plot of land in the realm and tap teleport and you'll see how many you have left.

Clear them after you hit collect. You only have space for 18 (unless you upgraded your clan tavern or treasuries since your last post) so you don't want to clog up your slots with opened items, especially if you have an active clan who gets monster chests often.
