Current Tooth and Scale Rewards

The current tooth and scale event gives 116 of the 15 min speedups (29 hours) for #1 in the TH22 bracket. I like the event because it gives me another way to progress without dedicating gems, speeds, or brew, but these rewards are worse than the #1 hourly rewards: 5 of the 8 hr speeds (40 hours). Why bother making it a daily event if it doesnt give good rewards?
Granted, the event also gives some brew, 26 of the 50 brews(1300 brew) . It takes 244 brew to kill a lv7 monster, giving 200-220 gems. So, this is about 5 monsters or 1k gems + rss from ~20 monster hits, which is ~500k of each rss (at 25k rss per hit).

So, the #1 rewards total: 29 hrs of speeds, 1k gems, and 500k of eahc rss. Does anyone think this is worthy of a daily event?
