    Hey everyone,

    Thank you for being a part of this awesome community. Whether you've been with us since beta or joined only today we're thankful that you've given us a chance and continue to play with us.

    Since launching Kingdoms of Heckfire, we have been focused on improving the stability and performance of the game. This was our first priority, as we wanted to give our players a stable gameplay experience. Moving forward, we will be focusing on adding all new Features and Content to the game.

    This update will serve to highlight some of our recent additions, as well as what we've got planned (in a broad sense) for the future.

    Recent Additions


    Shrines
    We released our first major feature, Shrines, earlier this month. This feature was designed to engage the top clans in each realm, giving prestige, and meaningful rewards to the clan that captures it. What is out there now is just version 1 of Shrines. We will continue to work with you to make this feature into a major activity for the top clans to engage in.

    Inventory

    We have added an inventory system to the game, allowing players to browse and use the items that they own, all in one centralized location!

    Event History

    We have added an Event History page that allows players to see how they placed in the past 24 hours of events that they were a part of. They will now know the full leaderboard ranking of those events, and how you placed within it.

    Dragon Ranks
    A significant number of players had reached the maximum rank for their Dragons. To help these players continue to progress within their city and take on tougher monsters we increased the maximum rank of Dragons from 20 to 30.



    Upcoming Features + Content

    Artifacts

    We have finished the preliminary design for Artifacts, which are items that players can collect from the realm to temporarily boost the power of their Kingdoms. It will allow Kingdoms to temporarily increase their offensive and defensive powers. This increase in power will make the PVP environment more dynamic. The strongest players will be more vulnerable, and the right combination of artifacts being activated by a clan can topple even the biggest Kingdoms. Aside from PVP benefits, Artifacts will also grant you bonuses for how quickly your Kingdom can grow.

    Raids
    How do you get Artifacts? From Raids! Clans can work together to gather the necessary resources to summon a Raid Titan. These titans are a lot more challenging to take down than normal titans, requiring not only brute strength but clan coordination to defeat. Not only that, there will be a time limit for each Super Titan summoned. Beating the Raid Titan before time expires to unlock the next level, and upgrade your artifacts!

    New Event Types
    We are looking to bring back some of the most successful elements of our seasonal events and adding them to our regular schedule. It will have all new artwork, and of course, great rewards.

    Research for Shrines, Increased Dragon Slots, Increased Dragon Tiers/Levels
    As players finish the existing content in the game, we will be adding additional upgrades for them to unlock.

    High-Level Content Balance
    As kingdoms get stronger across our Realms, we will re-evaluate how damaging combat is, and make adjustments as necessary to maintain the level of protection we want in the game. This includes balancing the kills & injuries in battle, and the power of solo/rally attacks.
