How do I sign out

There is no way to log out of your account on your own. As a result, you will need to send a message through the in game help section requesting the account be removed from your device. Make sure to include the type/model of device the account you want removed is on in the help message.

I'm pretty sure if you would delete the app it would sign you out, you would just have to download it again.

 

Incorrect, it is associated with your device, deleting and reinstalling will sadly not log you out of your account. I assume this is a precaution to prevent against account sharing.

 

What if you were to reset your actual device, which for anyone reading this comment, this is not something you should do unless you have nothing else on your phone to begin with. But that would probably work then as that works for KaW and Smash.

 

Resetting your phone to factory settings is so drastic...It works, but you are better off just asking them to remove the account from that specific device. I have actually un-linked my account from my device once just by asking them.
And Tia is correct. Just uninstalling alone would not be enough to remove the account from the device. It would be havoc with people accidentally losing access to their accounts every time they uninstalled it to see if it would fix an issue, or if they made purchases etc and deleted the game, then later decided they wanted to play again. It's good that you have to factory reset your device or ask ata specifically to remove it from your specific device since it protects people from accidentally losing the account.
