Idol Building Upgrade

I have been playing for about a year and my idol building is level 8. I've participated in over 70 raids and still haven't been able to get it to 9 or 10. Full city except ne building is upgraded to 22. I feel like the progress isn't fast enough. Especially if there is 25 levels. I wish it was easier to get idolith activations.
