Announcement Introducing Gaia!

Most denizens in Heckfire aren't very tuned into the natural world. This is hardly surprising considering the generally hostile flora (Carnivorous plants, poisonous plants, plants that make you itchy) and fauna (Dragons want to eat you, bees want to sting you and squirrels, quite frankly, are jerks.) But some of Heckfire's more dirt loving citizens brave all of these dangers in the hopes of understanding their world a bit better, to comprehend what the natural world is trying to tell them. Most last about a week. But a select few have defied the odds and learned to interpret the subtle language of the planet itself. And every one of them wishes they could unhear what it has told them. They have heard the beating of the heart of Heckfire, and can only listen, helplessly, as the very land cries out in agony from the many wounds it endures at the hands of its inhabitants. Endless battles scar the landscape as warlords carve up the world, plundering it today that they might bring even greater destruction tomorrow. Worse, those listening closely can hear something stir deep within the primal core of Heckfire, where only deep roots and forgotten things dwell. An ancient, terrible force of creation and destruction has been roused, the pleas of its children wrenching it from its well deserved rest, and it is making its way to the surface world. You will know its arrival, heralded as it is by shattered earth bleeding forth liquid flame and a sound like a thousand oak trees splintering at once. Flee, hide or face your doom, it makes no difference in the end, for this beast has seen the havoc wrought upon its beloved child, and it has come to return it tenfold.

Introducing GAIA!

Bearing down with all the fury of a land consumed in flame, Gaia emerges from the core of the planet to wreak bloody vengeance upon those who have defiled her domain. A force so mighty even other dragons cower and quake at her very mention, no one is safe from the wrath of this primal power. Approaching with the pure force of an erupting volcano, Gaia rips into enemies, splintering bone and showering the surrounding area with the blasted remains of those who failed to heed her warnings. There is no controlling such a primal force, but the bold (read: Foolhardy) may learn to harness this raw potential for violent ends. A few might even survive the experience. Know though that once you have accepted this power, there will be no going back. Grab hold of the reins of the very earth itself today, and carve a path of righteous annihilation across Heckfire with GAIA!

Realm Raider - Core biome + Lava PvP attack bonus on cities and resource nodes for combat involving Gaia

This world is, and has always been the domain of Gaia. There is no place in this world you are safe from her vengeance. No matter where she attacks, she receives a bonus when striking entrenched enemies.

Realm Rallier - Attack bonus as a rally leader when using this dragon

While Gaia leaves destruction in her wake, it still beats being out in front of her, and troops will fight as hard as possible to avoid getting on her bad side. Gain a bonus to attack power when rallying behind Gaia.

Shrine Specialist - Attack bonus on shrines when using this dragon

Gaia’s power flows from the lifeblood of Heckfire itself, and the closer she gets to the sources of this primal energy, the more powerful she becomes. Wrest control of shrines from your enemies with Gaia!


Expert Raider - Bonus to Pug Rider and Wild Pugskateer attack abilities when using this dragon

The fanged beasts of the forest may have changed over the years, but even pugs were once wolves and will heed the clarion call of the earthmother dragon. Hold on to those pups for dear life and watch them charge with maddened ferocity when following the lead of their mistress.
