    I’d like to see a new feature so old players don’t want to harass newer players by attacking and taking OC resources by having a rare item that poisons the food taken by an enemy to kill all their attacking troops. Especially considering you literally can’t do anything to prevent an attack from a far more advanced player.

    The attacker shouldn't be punished for mistakes on your end. I really doubt this will come into the game.
