    There should be a small chance of 1000 gem nodes spawning in the middle ring just as an extra way to get gems. Or, a smarter way would be to put them on the very outskirts so the lower levels would have a higher chance of getting them.

    This is pretty much what the generosity nodes do. Though the gems we acquire right now are right for each th level to grow at a good pace. More gems just means more players reaching end game too quickly.
