I wasn’t sure where else to put this but yesterday I posted in realm chat stating I would be willing to take on peoples accounts if they wanted to quit. I wasn’t aware that was against the rules. I know plenty of people with alternative accounts and never even thought that would be an issue. Sure enough instead of a warning, I received a message from “The Thinking Ape” telling me I have been permanently banned from chat. I’ve been playing this game since it came out and had no clue. How can I get this reversed? I can’t play this game without the ability of chatting with other players.

Send a message through the in game help button with what you just said above. Not sure how appeals work on this game but to my recollect it might me a minimum of a couple weeks or months before you can appeal a permenant silence. But send the help message anyway, good luck!

Menu -> extras -> help -> new chat.

Alts aren't the issue, using an account that isn't yours or trying to get one is.

ATA have rules clearly outlined, they are under the TOU (terms of use), and it clearly states you are not permitted to partake in ACC sharing. And you are certainly not permitted to ask/offer accs on RC.. You cannot offer the excuse of ignorance, to put it simply you are responsible for your own actions. You are given only a permanent silence, you should think yourself lucky you was not given a perm ban. They have given permanent bans for crimes much less than one you committed. Follow the rules, and you will not have any issues. The rules are there and designed to keep the game as fair as possible.

Punish all heinous crimes !! ATA bringing down the cheats and those who would violate the purity of the game 👍🏽

I do...It's not that long, and I like to make sure that if I spend my time or money on a game, that I'll be able to continue playing it to the fullest. I'm not about to do anything that'll make me unable to play, so I read the rules so I know what I can and can't do...or I'll end up like OP over here...with the inability to chat...
You also agree to them by playing the game, so you really should make a habit of finding out what you agree to...
