Realm Leader bug

i recently won realm leader in realm 88. My deliberation period is winding down. I was told I could select during this time. I am unable to do anything other than change the announcement. I am using the latest iPad with current updates. There are no options in drop down menus. I am unable to select anyone for realm roles. I have restarted device, game, cleared tech tree and cache. As a last resort, I tried using bluestacks on my computer to access my account and the same issue is there on Android platform. Have I been misinformed? My time is almost over. Please help.
