Standing on the shore of Heckfire is about as close as you're going to get to peace on a daily basis. Sure, there's rampaging crab monsters and bodies wash up fairly regularly, but there's also a sea breeze and the sand between whatever toes the plague and the predatory fish haven't claimed yet. But if you listen carefully, there's more than the just the sound of seagulls on the wind. Amidst the sounds of this peaceful place, you can vaguely make out the sound of...drums? Building in the distance, the sound grows, accompanied by a low rumble. Slowly but surely, the sounds approach closer, forming a melody that fills you with unease. The song ripples across the waves, sending out a message of foreboding, of conquest and plunder. As you frantically scan the horizon, you finally see it. A dot in the distance, the source of this sound. The drums grow louder. They are coming.
