Attention players, we have made several adjustments to the combat in the game. The full size of your army will still be used to determine the winner of the battle, but we will cap the losses based on your town hall level. We have tuned it such that, regardless of how many troops a player has, it will require a sizeable number of attacks to fill their hospitals. If you successfully initiate and engage in combat with another player at a city, you will no longer be able to shield for a period of time after the battle. This duration is based on the difference in Town Hall levels. If you attack someone before the timer is over, additional time will be added. 10+ Town hall levels below you - 20 minutes 9 Town hall levels below you - 15 minutes 8 Town hall levels below you - 11 minutes 7 Town hall levels below you - 8 minutes 6 Town hall levels below you - 6 minutes All other Attacks - 5 minutes
This is really pushing people away from pvp, even the bigs aren’t even really scouting much anymore because the loss on a win isn’t worth it anymore. Slowly turning into a farming game with no incentive to attack someone.
A lot of the smalls have been asking for Battle Fury for a while. I guess we'll have to see how it pans out. Unfortunately until the mechanics are put in play for a while, we don't know how we'll like it. Some things may seem like a good idea at first glance, then we realize it was a bad idea...then again, things may seem like a terrible idea, but we realize it works out. Let's see how this works out and if it has the intended results before we throw it away. Woah...I just realized that BattleFury kind of reminds me of someone's username, lol.
