Update Black Magic Friday!

Greetings Citizens of Heckfire!


The nights grow long and the shadows loom large as we put the finishing touches on the arcane rites to bring forth our most incredible Black Friday yet! It took some doing, and we MAY have ripped a fissure into the space between worlds where unknowable things dwell in order to summon forth these deals. Read on to find out about all the new content being released while we try to figure out where all the tentacles are coming from and whether the infernal whispers we’ve all started hearing actually have our best interests at heart.

Introducing Curses, our first element type!

The dark rituals needed to spawn our Black friday deals had some weird side effects, and one of them is that otherworldly ancient curses have been unleashed upon Heckfire. These are some pretty nasty hexes (One makes you grow a beard on your bum. It’s very messy), but the good news is that you can harness these faustian powers and wield them against your enemies! But beware, for some Dragons have subverted the curses and become resistant to them. Follow the link below for an overview of how this change will impact your Dragons, if you DARE! New Research!

Want to make your curses even nastier and learn to avoid being cursed yourself? Of course you do! We are introducing a whole new research tree dedicated to education courses on cursed calamities. Make sure to rank up your Dragons so that you can study their relation to curses and perfect your shadowy art!

Dragon updates and tweaks

We have made some adjustments to Dragon balance.

Common Dragons
-Cost less XP to level up.

Uncommon Dragons
-Increased overall power
-Require slightly less XP to level up

Rare Dragons
-Increased overall power

We are also pleased to announce that we have made fixes to our Dragon attribute system, which means that in addition to improving overall balance and reflecting the intended design...Epic Dragons return to the wall!That's right, you will now be able to put Waffles, Gourdon and Smaak up on the wall of your City, as well as any other epic Dragons. Pet-Ra

Pet-Ra is our first Curse Centric Epic Dragon, bringing the aggressive might of ancient hexes to bear to scatter your enemies in a whirlwind of fury and sand! Think the Mummy, but also a Dragon, because everything is better as a Dragon. Learn more about Pet-Ra by following the link below!

Snowball

From the frigid peaks of Heckfire comes Snowball, a beast of frost and fearsome fangs...and the official spirit of Wack Thursday, Snowball is physically, mentally and magically resistant, giving him a natural ability to shrug off curses and eat those who would be so bold as to use them.
