(4/30) Tomes from the Crypt & Sepulcher Mulcher

    Starting today (April 30th) at 2 PM PT we're going to be trying out an experimental new Crypt Event. This event will run until tomorrow at 2 PM PT.

    The overall event will work as follows:
    1) When PvE enemies are killed, there will be a percentage chance for them to spawn Crypts. These Crypts will spawn in groups, instead of one by one.

    2) Gathering from these Crypts will spawn Grassland Titan Minions

    3) Killing Grassland Titan Minions spawns Badlands Titan Minions

    4) Killing Badlands Titan Minions spawns Swamp Titan Minions

    5) Killing Swamp Titan Minions spawns Titan Overlords

    6) Killing Titan Overlords will spawn Chow, Brew, and Jewel Nodes

    (A total of 4 Titans will need to be spawned in order to spawn an Overlord)


    TL;DR

    TOMES FROM THE CRYPT
    SOLO EVENT
    Players earn points from Crypts

    SEPULCHER MULCHER
    CLAN EVENT
    Players earn points by killing Titan Minions and Titan Overlords​

    Yeah except im willing to bet none of these steps are clan specific. Going to be a lot of sniping and tile hitting going on. RIP

    Has anyone seen the titan minions pop up yet? According to numbers my clan should have had them already.

    This seems like a big brew grab to me. Expensive to hit for little benefit. Way worse than the possessed type event quest. And random crypt spawns is the same type tactic. Boo, ATA!

    This would be okay, but at 1.5 billion might I can’t even hit the titan minions...

    Most of my clan can't even hit the lvl 1 titans. Also, I thought it said 3 titans need to be killed to spawn the overlord? After we managed to kill one, it updated and said "minions killed: 1/4." PLUS it's 59 brew for each attack? This quest is dead in the water for us.

    Oh. And the randomness of spawning crypts stinks. I killed 5 monsters and didn't spawn a single crypt.

    I just killed enough camps for 3 million dragon quest points and not a single crypt

    It's not completely terrible, it just needs some tweaking. If ATA makes it so the crypts spawn more often, reduce the brew needed to hit the titan minions, and reduce the power of lvl 1 titan minions, it would be a pretty enjoyable event.

    Plus, one should get MORE Titan spirits for the kill than they do for the attacks. I got 250 spirits with each attack, and only 50 spirits for the kill.

    This event sucks, I can’t spawn a crypt and can’t even hit a titan wtf? And why do new event look like old ? Was getting ready to spend money on this gamre but not now.

    I did my whole DQ and spawned once and have yet to see a titan... super crap event.

    What's with the 4.5bil lvl2 Titans? We are spawning them but what's the point, two out of fifty can hit??!!

    And when I go nuts on lvl6 treants to hopefully get lvl6 crypts so we can try spawn a lvl1 we don't get any. No lvl1 pts at all. This is nuts.

    Please change at least system that random spawning crypts around the place on where is destroyed mobs to fixed spawning at where is destroyed mobs
