Excellent choice, my liege. Welcome to the land of dragons, loot gremlins, questionable decisions, and shields that always seem to expire at the worst possible time. These tips were gathered from experienced clan leaders to help new players survive the chaos, grow smarter, and maybe even avoid becoming someone else’s snack. None of this is mandatory homework from the dragon council. Take what helps, ask your clan when you’re confused, and remember: every big scary player started as a tiny confused goblin clicking buttons and wondering where all their Gold went. A huge, dragon booty-sized thank you to the legendary contributors who shared their wisdom:Cath, Camelot, A10, Pipex, Mike, Deo, Frap, Murderbot, Tine, Sugarmilk, Android, ThatBee, Tiger and Moxxbandit.[/center] [title]Quick Tips[/title]Research First, Buildings Second 📚🏗️Try not to rush building upgrades too much before catching up on research. A good early approach is to push your Town Hall up to a useful point, then slow down and focus on research and troop training before racing ahead again. Research gives you long-term power, unlocks important upgrades, and helps make everything else you do more efficient. March Cap Is Your Best Friend🫡Increasing your March Cap is huge early on. You’ll find March Cap upgrades in different research trees, so unlock as much as you can. More March Cap means more damage on monsters, better farming, and less wasted Brew. Since Brew can run out fast (and not everyone can buy more) using it efficiently is a big deal. Always Have Something Going 🕰️Try to always have something building or researching. Even if it’s only a short upgrade before work, school, or bedtime, start it anyway! An hour and 12 minutes now is time you won’t have to wait later, and when you log back in, you can start the next thing. Pace Your Brew Usage 🍺Brew is valuable, so don’t chug it all at once like a goblin at a tavern. Use it with purpose, especially during events or when working toward rewards. If you’re low on Brew, you can still participate in clan events through things like gathering, feathers, or crypts when available. Gold Is King 🟡Gold is one of the most important resources overall, so make it a top priority. Ore is also especially important early on because you’ll need a lot of it for buildings. Keep a mental note of what you want to do next:<ul> <li>Buildings need Ore</li> <li>Troops need food</li> <li>Research needs… basically everything.</li> </ul> Don’t Stress Over Every Dragon 🐉Dragons can feel overwhelming at the start. Instead of trying to build every dragon at once, focus on a few that help you grow early. Try not to dump all your chow into only one dragon or only one type of dragon. Spread your investment in a way that supports the dragons you have and the goals you’re working toward. Dragon Priorities 🐲Dragon advice can depend on where you are in the game, but some dragons are worth paying attention to early. Heartstrike and Dracyll & Clyde are great to work on because of their BFA (Bonus From Allies) boosts. Wrot is also commonly recommended for new players because the speed boost helps with farming and general efficiency. After that, think about what your account needs most: a stronger wall, better farming, or more PvP power. Gaia is another solid option to consider. Farm Smart and Protect Your Wall 🧱Early on, efficient farming matters a lot. You also want to build and maintain a wall strong enough that most players in your realm can’t easily solo you. Growing fast is fun, but growing smart keeps your loot safer. Equip Your Booty 🪎Don’t forget to equip Booty on your most-used dragons! It’s easy to overlook, but those bonuses add up. Don’t sleep on Booty. Visit the Shop Daily 🛍️Check the shop every day. There are items in different tabs that you can grab with free resources. Make it part of your daily routine; future you will be thankful. Save Your Epic Stamps 📩Save Epic Stamps from event rewards and use them wisely during Dragon Aptitude Test events, especially to redeem dragons needed for the event. Good timing can help with dragon growth and can also support raid token gains. Time Your Growth for Events 🏆Whenever possible, try to save big upgrades, dragon growth, or resource spending for events where they’ll earn extra rewards. Hourly quests, Might Growth days, Tooth and Scale events, and leaderboards can all give you more value for the same effort. Meta Rewards Are Huge ⭐Meta placement rewards are incredibly useful for newer accounts. Do what you can to participate and place where possible; those rewards can really help speed up early growth. Leaderboard rewards are not just personal wins; they help build the clan over time too. Redeem Your Keys 🔑Always redeem your keys before the season event ends so you don’t miss out on rewards. It’s one of those small habits that can save a lot of regret later. Mind Your Shield 🛡️Keep an eye on your shield. It’s totally okay to throw on a fresh shield even if you still have a couple of hours left. Better safe than sorry when there are clans looting around! For brand-new accounts, remember that the game starts you with an automatic 7-day shield. If you join a clan early, consider waiting until that shield drops before moving near the hive, so you don’t waste that protection. Be Smart with Jewels ♦️Use Jewels sparingly at the start. Try not to burn them buying resource tokens. Save Jewels for big researches, important upgrades, or finishing something major like a University upgrade. Ask Your Clan 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒Some tips are best shared directly in your clan because they may depend on your current dragons, research, build, stage of the game, or active events. Ask questions, share screenshots, and don’t be afraid to say “I have no idea what I’m doing.” Every strong player started there. Clan Growth Is Team Growth 💪🏼Participate in clan events whenever you can. Even if you’re low on brew or still small, there are usually ways to help. A good clan grows together. Stronger players can help newer players, newer players can still contribute, and everyone benefits when the whole clan gets better.
