How does the Protection bonus work

Protection cap: each resource has its own protection cap which can be increased by building treasuries. A percent increase to your protection cap is also available as a research option. However, this percent increase is not reflected in the protection cap that you can see when viewing your profile. To calculate your total protection, cap you need to do the following, [protection cap * (1 + % increase)]. If you had a protection cap of 100,000 and a percent bonus of 10% the equation would read [100,000 *(1 + 0.1)] which equals 110,000.
