Announcement Introducing Staxx!

In a blasted valley far away from prying eyes, an open wound has been carved into the land of Heckfire that bleeds endlessly with the castoffs of industry. Day and night, acrid sludge seeps from this place, whilst great smokestacks belch black smog into the skies. Within the walls of this brutal edifice, workers toil in darkness, illuminated only by flickering lamps and the glow of molten metals being poured into jagged molds, for the sun has not touched these floors in many a year. Piece by piece, their work has been assembled. It is time to reveal their dark artifice to the world. As the final rivets are put in place, an eerie song rings out, barely audible over the endless melody of falling hammers. “Clank Clank goes the beast of fire and iron. Clank Clank goes the jaw that opens wide. Clank clank goes the sound from deep within. Clank clank goes the crushing wheel inside. Clank Clank. Clank Clank.”

Born of the most depraved excesses of industry, Staxx is ready to be unleaded upon the unspoiled lands of Heckfire. Driven and unfeeling, this beast feels no sorrow or remorse as it tears apart the lands, shredding earth and flesh alike in search of resources to feed the ravenous hunger of industrialized warfare. To gaze upon this destructive automaton is to understand the very message it embodies; Embrace the power of technology, or become its next victim. The sight will drive many mad. But for those with true vision, there is no telling how far this monstrous power will take them. Embrace the raw might of industry and leave your enemies lands a burnt out husk with Staxx!



Earth Resistance - Negates a portion of opponent's Earth Power
The power of nature is incredible. But Staxx does not fear poison or barbed vines, and a heart made of bronze means most acids do nothing but buff it to a mirror shine. Staxx shrugs off a portion of any earth elemental power as a result, so get up in their plant based business and show them them that nature is no match for this industrial strength weed killer.


Realm Raider - Core biome + Lava PvP attack bonus on cities and resource nodes when using this dragon
No place in Heckfire is truly safe from the ravages of this new technology. Whether it’s choking out a calm grassland with smog, disrupting the delicate ecosystem in a desert or dumping sludge into a swamp, Staxx is second to none at making an area uninhabitable and hostile to those who would try to defend it. Staxx gains a bonus to PVP attacks on all core biomes and Lava.


Realm Rallier - Attack bonus as a rally leader when using this dragon
The march of Technology is typically a metaphor, but in this case it is quite literal. Staxx doubles as a mobile weapons factory, grinding blades to a razor's edge on the way to their destination. Any Rally led by Staxx gains a bonus to attack.


Shrine Specialist - Attack bonus on shrines when using this dragon
Staxx emits a lot of smoke while on the move. All it takes is some creative venting to turn this acrid output into a vicious area denial weapon. Turn a shrine into Heck on earth with this stinging, choking smog and gain an attack bonus when attacking shrines with Staxx!

Expert Defender - Bonus to Knight and Royal Knight defensive abilities when using this dragon
The mark of a real knight is that their equipment will give out before they do, and With Staxx on the scene, obtaining replacements and upgrades is as easily accomplished by churning more out from their horrifying maw. Sharper swords, bigger hammers and better steel all combine to make your knights tougher, meaner, and deadlier on defense.


Realm Ally Booster - Increased ally bonus on all core biomes when using this dragon
While just about everyone in Heckfire has some pretty valid concerns about the horrifying factory slash warbeast that is presently tearing their way across the world, no one is particularly keen to get on the bad side of anyone employing it. Get a big more “enthusiasm” out of your allies on any march that includes Staxx.


Epic Leech Master - Bonus to troop healing value
Staxx heat output is terrifying, but can be used to rapidly boil water and sterilize medical equipment. The doctors might not be qualified, but a clean bandage is still an improvement! Gain a bonus to troop healing value with Staxx!

Industrial Executioner - provides a lethality bonus except against marches or defending cities that contain a dragon with the Industrial Evader ability (Gaia)
The path of technological progress is one of grinding gears and lost limbs, and only the full force of nature can even hope to contain such brutality. Staxx gains a lethality bonus against any march or defending city that does not contain a dragon with the Industrial evader ability.

Nature Evader - provides a protection bonus _specifically against marches that contain a dragon with the Nature Executioner ability (Gaia)
Life,uh...finds a way, but there's nothing like some high powered herbicide and acid rain to hold it back. Staxx provides a passive resistance to the lethality bonus granted by dragons using the Nature executioner ability.
