The vicious winds and blazing sun are ever present, and “the dead rising from the grave to torment the living” is so common it qualifies as weather. (In an effort to tame this wild land, the people of Heckfire made it a penal colony once, but the only prisoner was Todd and no one wanted to stick around long enough to guard him). Within this desolate environment though, curious creatures do manage to thrive. Some burrow to avoid the heat, others emerge only at night. But few are so bold as the spiked beast that lumbers about in the blazing heat of mid-day, digging up the clusters of crystals that glint tantalizingly in the relentless sun.

Introducing Thornton!

Despite the fearsome appearance of Thorntons scaly armor, it’s actually an amazing adaptation that allows him to harvest precious water in the desert by concentrating water on the surface. That said, Thornton has figured out that blood is mostly water, so maybe refrain from petting him. Aside from that, caring and feeding Thornton is pretty straightforward. Feed him lots of skeletons of calcium and give him lots of exercise by allowing him room to dig up resources and shiny things. Thornton feels a kinship with most spiky objects, and in particular with glittering piles of precious stones. He knows all their secrets, and can teach them to other Dragons, helping you earn more jewels faster! Adopt Thornton today and be on your way to fabulous riches tomorrow!

Skeleton Hunter - Bonus power when attacking Skeleton Camps

They say that every rose has it’s thorn, but every Thornton has his rows...of razor sharp teeth! Put them to work and send those pesky skeletons packing!

Badlands Gatherer - Bonus to gathering speed in Badlands

There’s gold in them thar hills! And Ore. And food too! Bring’em all home faster with Thornton!

Jewel Gatherer - Bonus to gathering speed from all jewel nodes (Passive)

Dragons often learn by watching other Dragons, and there’s no better teacher in the fine art of finding even finer jewels than Thornton. He can sniff them out, dig them up and bring them home all before most folks are even aware the jewels exist. Share that knowledge with your other Dragons and start raking in the best shiny rocks with Thornton![/QUOTE]
