Android Limited text characters

Whenever I type in CC or on clan header I am limited to the number of characters. I can type a full message, but it only posts the first part of it, and If I go to change the clan announcement it deletes the end of the current announcement so I can't fully amend it. I can enter 160 characters in the message box, but it only posts 125 of them to the chat area.
