The concept behind this is simple. The same way we can train T1,T2,T3 troops. We should be able to retrain them to upgrade them.
Now let's start off with how we classify troop tiers.

We have Militias, which are T1 troops.
We have Guards as T2 troops.
We have the Huntress,Knight, and Pug Rider as T3
We have Trophy Huntress,Royal Knight, and Pugskateer at T4.

Now first let me explain the mechanic behind retraining.

To be able to retrain there should be certain requirements met.

    •Training Pit Level 15, 20, 25

•The troop you want unlocked.(Example For Guard to be a Knight you must need Knight unlocked)

•Plus a certain amount of food.

So let's skip T1 and go straight to T2 and T3.

Lets say I have 200,000 Guards.
I want to retrain them into knights.

We can go about this two different ways.(I'll let you decide ATA)

First way is the generic alright you can retrain a certain amount of troops at a time. The days it will take should cost less than the days it would take to make the Knights from scratch.

For example(This is just a what if): 20,000 guards take 4 days and 20,000 Knights take 7 days. The training that should only be required is 3 days. It would technically be the same as just creating 20,000 Knights and waiting the 7 days.

The second way could be a ratio.
    For example: 10:1 or 5:1
10 Guards equal 1 Knight. Or 5 Guards equal one Knight.

The same should be applied for Higher Tiers.

How it can change the gameplay.

Gameplay will be changed but not as much. Due to the fact that alot of people have T1 or T2 troops still and they want to get rid of them without having a burning castle, it would make it easier to get rid of them.
This will also solve some complaints about strength in pvp and having to many lower tiered troops.

The amount of gems that it is required to speed up retraining troops though should be more. As its basically the same thing as just upgrading. And normally in most games upgrading means higher price.

What you guys can do to gain a profit is promote troop retraining bundles. As it i guarantee alot of people would want to buy them for there troops.

    What do you guys think?
