Th9 Idol investment

I just got to th9 and found that I got a new hourly, idol investment now I know it works by brackets and how many ths there are in my bracket. But the event is pointless 3 points to 3 star to get just 3 gems that's all nothing more why can't you just scrap it and replace it for another event and only bring it in when the rewards are actually decent. Now there's probably one less monster hunt in the day.
